Meet Julia Smith, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC).
From a young age she knew helping others was her life calling. This knowledge led to a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in family studies from Weber State University. With affirmed love for the mental health field and a new passion for working with individuals dealing with substance use, Julia earned her Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling: Integrated Recovery for Co-Occurring Disorders.
With a decades worth of experience Julia utilizes evidence-based treatment practices to support and bolster each individual's unique treatment goals. Julia’s eclectic and holistic approach to therapy applies concepts from humanistic and existential therapy, person-centered therapy, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.
